Rethinking Security and Safety

Billions of federal tax dollars are appropriated to a war machine that enriches weapons manufacturers at the cost of providing benefits that people in every other advanced country enjoy. 

We need to change spending priorities to fund programs that will truly make our residents safer and our country stronger.

A nation that continues, years after year, to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.
