Move the Money Res. 423 will have a hearing!
On Wednesday, December 13 at 1:00 pm, the City Council Committee on Cultural Affairs will consider Resolution 423. The public is invited to testify.
The location for the hearing has changed!!! The hearing will take place at 250 Broadway, directly across the street from City Hall in the 16th Floor Committee Room. See the map below.
WE WANT TO FILL THE ROOM
What do you and your community lose when Congress spends our tax dollars for more weapons instead of healthcare, schools, housing, transit, environment and things we really need?
We have a voice and we should use it. Tell the City Council what resources your community needs but can't "afford" unless we MOVE THE MONEY from war to human services.
📣Use these guidelines for help in knowing how to testify.
You can testify in person or via video conferencing. While not required, you can register in advance before December 13th at:

If you can't make it on December 13th, you can submit written testimony up to 72 hours after the hearing by registering at the link above.
